I want to thank Yvonne and her awesome caring staff for taking such good care of my girl. She is doing so much better, her appetite has returned as well as her energy. Both of which had dwindled over the past while. Thank you so much!

I am very comfortable bringing our pet to see the team at Island Vet. The entire visit is always professional yet warm and informative.

Through the years we have had wonderful service and care . Recently our senior dog had dental surgery . We experienced great care and support from the entire staff. Truly it is the pet parent that were more anxious than the patient! Thank u for your wonderful care!!!

We are very happy with the service we receive. Everyone is understanding and accommodating of our dog's quirks. Everyone takes time to answer our questions and help us feel at ease. Our dog loves going to vet even though she barks at everyone there.

Everyone in the office is always so caring and knowledgeable. They care about our pets as if they are there own. Everyone is always friendly and personable! Hands down the best veterinary hospital we have ever used for our pets!

I appreciate that the staff all seem to know me when I walk in even though they must see so many people every day. I really like that all of the staff are able to look up my file easily and answer my questions. Plus you always have the food I need.

I always receive great care at Island Vet. My family has been going to Island Vet for as long as I can remember. From the doctors to the techs to the staff, they are always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The front desk staff are very efficient and competent in all transactions either on the phone or in person.

Highly recommend. Staff are so kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Vets are gentle with terrified pets. Super accommodating with last minute requests for appointments if the need is urgent. Wouldn't take my girl anywhere else.

Coop, our 8 year old Golden Doodle, has been a happy, healthy patient at IVH for his entire life. Everyone at IVH provides a friendly, professional environment that makes coming in a pleasure and keeps Cooper at ease. With the advice and products that are provided by the doctors and support staff, Cooper has kept his youthful enthusiasm and playfulness. And when Cooper needed the eventual emergency service, IVH was there to help us through and the follow-up we received was amazing. It's refreshing to have a group of people who care as much for Cooper as we do and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend IVH to anyone.

Dr. Van Duin is so fantastic. I love how much time she takes with my pets. I never feel rushed, and she is very thorough. She asks all the right questions and is very informative and helps to educate. My dog Ruby just loves Dr. Van Duin - bringing Ruby to the clinic is always a positive experience for her (and my cat never minds it either!). I also appreciate that the girls at the hospital are helping Ruby with a weight-loss program free of charge... definitely something I've been trying to manage on my own without any luck. The focus on complete wellness is great!

Very happy with Island Veterinary Hospital. We have a new puppy and they took the time (1 1/2 hours) to walk through all of the things we needed to know to ensure we keep a healthy and happy puppy. And our little puppy seemed to love them too.

Everytime I go to Island Vet with a question or a concern or just to pick up dog food, everybody is welcoming, knowledgeable and I never leave without answers and solutions. Even my dog and two cats like going to the "doctor".

The staff here is the best! All of them! Both the veterinarians and the vet techs are incredibly hospitable and friendly, and most importantly knowledgable and truly care about your animals. Their fees are reasonable, and in some cases much cheaper than other vet clinics. I am not a professional but I am well educated with some vet technician training, as well as I am extremely protective of my animals. The staff here always answer all my questions with such patience, and it's clear that they have in-depth knowledge of all the services and products they provide. This is the best veterinary hospital in the lower mainland. Maybe even in all of BC. For years I searched for a great vet with affordable fees. I found good vet clinics, but once I visited Island Vet. Hospital with my cat I found a great one, and I will never leave. No matter how much you like your current vet, try this place.

the receptionists are always friendly, I have visited this clinic probably 6-7 times in the past 1.5 yrs. Dr. Sarah Dumont is amazing, attentive and very honest. I always appreciate the time that each staff member spends with my doggy. I know they have alot of clients, but my puppy always feels extra special when he visits this clinic. Thanks for being so great! I'm a forever client here.

All the staff at Island Veterinary are wonderful. Every one is very friendly and helpful, explain fully the treatment they are giving my two little dogs, and willing to answer all of my questions.

Excellent facility, doctor, and staff. We brought our Dog in for an allergy concern and they took us as their last appointment. The overall experience was pleasant and informative. The Rx diet and Lily's condition were all explained in down to earth fashion. I felt that our concerns were being addressed and being new pet owners, we were not being talked down to, instead the doctor and her staff were very accomodating. We appreciate all the succeeding instructions for the proper care of our dog. We also appreciate the preventive care philosophy of Island Vet.

My family have been taking our pets to Island Vets for about 40 years (since I was a kid) And Island Vet has continued to maintain the professionalism and high standard of pet care over all those years!!

Staff are pleasant and friendly. My puppy was looked after immediately by the Vet. All questions and concerns were answered appropriately. The Vet was very attentive and hands on with my puppy. It was a positive experience for my puppy's first Vet visit(with me). Hand-outs and information to take home (from Pet Insurance, puppy care and other pertinent information about the care of my puppy) were given in a neat take-home folder. Initial assessments and vaccines are reasonable. Follow up with clinic the next day how my puppy was doing after his shots and exam. Reminders for follow up shots. Overall experience was satisfactory. You get better treatment as an animal than as a human-lucky puppy!

This is a great place and they really care about your animals health. They have a friendly & knowledgeable staff and are there to help you.

I have always received great care for my dogs. The vets make time to answer all your questions and are excellent on follow up care. My dogs are relaxed when they come for their exams which I believe is a result of the postive experiences they have over the years here at Island Vet. My two females dogs have been spayed here and both where looked after well and received good pain management after surgery. So keep up the good work to all the wonderful staff.

I found Island Vet to be very friendly, informative with a comfortable atmosphere that made both my dog and I relax. I was looking for a new vet for my new companion after my last veteranarian retired. Island vet was the third vet I had investigated and I chose Island Vet due to the comfortable way I was cared for. The whole team was very informative and took the time to explain everything, they even gave me a call to see how my dog was doing. The vet took her time to investigate a product for me and called back with an explaination and opinion which was greatly apreciated. I know I have found the best vet care for my pets.

This is a place that really cares about the animals that coming and their owners. The care they give is something I have never experienced before from any other veterinary clinic. I can call or go in anytime to ask about my dogs health and get help immediately. The staff there is friendly, helpful and make you feel at ease. They are kind and gentle to their patients. I feel lucky you have them care for my dog Russian.

Loved this Veterinary Hospital as they are very friendly and keep you informed of your pet's needs and medication. Everything is explained in detail, they are there to assist in keeping your pet healthy and on a quick road to recovery; they follow-up to see how the pet is doing and if I have any concerns; Have never experienced this before...will highly recommend this hospital to my friends.
